Or you may want something a little different, out in the countryside close to a nice pub. Yours truly will be the opening act of Secrets & Lies, Friday March 1st at 2 pm in Lowdham's Women's Institute Village Hall. (It's on the A 6097 between Mansfield and Nottingham. Of course, in both instances I'm simply a 'novelty act'. Real writers write fiction, and that's really what festivals are all about. I rate somewhere down at 58 Shades of Grey, lurking in the remainders bin just behind Hogwarts School. Never the less, literary fiction dullard though I am, I feel truly honoured (and always relieved) to be asked along. At least you'll have a few laughs. |
