SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES
It’s BILDERBERG time!
The ‘elite’ - i.e., the Rulers of The World, are gathered from June 6 to June 9th in another secret annual cabal, the Bilderberg conference, at Watford’s 5-star Grove Hotel. Of course, if you’re spotted regarding this annual event in a suspicious manner such as this, then you’re immediately branded a ‘Conspiracy nut’, yet the more you look at Bilderberg the more sinister and unfathomable it becomes.

This secret meeting brings together the world’s most powerful politicians, bankers, media moguls, CEOs and policy makers As usual, there’s a media blackout because the last thing these people want is any kind of transparency. That seems a little odd, considering that our Prime Minister Cameron, who promised ‘transparent government’ when he came to power, is one of the actual guests (but not on the official guest list). ‘Call me Dave’ is there with his sidekick George Osborne. It’s the very opposite of transparency - otherwise, why would a massive security fence, known locally this week as the “Great Wall of Watford” have been erected all around the perimeter of the hotel?
Among the ‘usual suspects’ this year there’s the odd surprise. For example, what’s Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls doing there? If you check the list of attendees at www.vigilantcitizen.com and do a spot of Googling (oh, yes, Google’s CEO Jeff Bezos is there - and Amazon’s Eric Schmidt) you’ll get a picture of the kind of people who genuinely run the world. The sinister slither of Peter Mandelson, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde, a clutch of Barclays and HSBC executives, including Marcus Agius, David Wright, Stuart Gulliver and Simon Roberston. There’s German bankers, Swiss bankers, US Military types, the creepy Henry Kissinger (he wouldn’t miss a Bilderberg get-together for anything) and that old political turncoat, Shirley Williams. All the elected politicians present would appear to be there to take their orders from the elite billionaires for running (ruining?) our lives for the coming year. And on-line snooping and the eradication of privacy will be high on the agenda.
CEO of Palantir Technologies Alex Karp is present too. Here’s what his company do: ‘We currently offer a suite of software applications for integrating, visualizing and analyzing the world's information. We support many kinds of data including structured, unstructured, relational, temporal and geospatial… broadly deployed in the intelligence, defence, law enforcement and financial communities, and are spreading rapidly by word of mouth into applications in other industries and realms of impact.’
Of course, it’s just a fun weekend for a lot of well-heeled people, like Lord Carrington, for example, ex- chair of NATO, or General Petraeus of the US Army or the various intelligence experts. Are they all there to sort out Al Queda and put an end to austerity? Do they have a plan to put the NHS right? Of course not. They’re all there for one reason; ensuring they stay very rich at our expense, and staying in control. Democracy and fairness don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell. But what do I know? I’m just a conspiracy nut.
